Kay Kim

Director of Math & Science

Mrs. Kay Kim graduated from Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Science with a BS in Industrial Engineering, and then graduated from Biblical Theological Seminary (currently known as Mission Seminary) with a MA in Old Testament. Mrs. Kim was involved in ministry as a children's ministry director and youth/college ministry assistant for several years before starting to teach at Stone Ridge Christian High School in Merced, California in 2010 where she taught math for three years. She is currently the Academic Dean, College Counselor here at Veritas, and she also teaches secondary math and science classes. She loves how classical education is all about teaching our children to become not only lifetime learners and thinkers but full human beings who can enjoy everything God has given us. She believes that classical education trains students to discover who God is and who we are in His image by seeing His truth, goodness, and beauty--by seeing Christ--in every aspect of life. She and her husband, Isaac, have 3 grown adult children and all of them are proud alumni of Veritas. She also loves spending time with her family watching good movies together. Her favorite Bible verse comes from Matthew 6:33 : "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."
