Mrs. HK Kim had taught ART at Veritas Classical Academy previously, and now is serving the community as a bookkeeper. She graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Textiles, then graduated from NYU with a MA in Art Education. After she finished her MA, Mrs. Kim went back to Korea and taught ART at Seoul International Christian Academy for two years, which is also a classical school. She learned about classical education there and felt passionate about its values. Especially when self-expressionism is highly honored in the contemporary art world, she feels strongly that seeking God's beauty was the missing key value. 

Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 13:6: "I will sing to the LORD, for he has been good to me.", and she named her three sons from this verse.
