Mrs. Jane Sohn graduated from University of Cambridge (King’s College) with a BA in Archaeology and Anthropology. She then went onto study law at BPP College of Law and has since worked for a number of major global law firms in the UK, Dubai and Korea. In 2022, she decided to put her 10+ years of legal career behind her and joined Veritas Classical Academy’s Korea Campus to fulfil her life-long passion for teaching children and mentoring youths. Ms. Sohn teaches secondary history, literature, history of philosophy and rhetoric classes. She loves how classical education trains students to discover, delight in, discern and display God’s truth, goodness, and beauty in all areas of life, so that they can view and make sense of an increasingly confusing world through the eyes of the Lord and can go out boldly into the world, embracing it as God’s light and salt. She is delighted to be a part of this global Christ-centered community, raising and serving these next generation of Christ followers. In her free time, she likes to read, write, travel, play music and watch movies. She is a sports lover and has a deep interest in photography, volunteer work, child education and counselling. Most of all though, she loves spending time with her family and is always up for a new challenge. Her favorite Bible verse is Matthew 6:33: "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."
