Mr. Luis Daniel Garcia has been teaching at Veritas for two years, but has only begun teaching in person this year! He graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Religious Studies. In 2018, he pursued a Master's of Divinity at Talbot School of Theology at Biola. After graduating, although he did not believe the Lord was calling him into ministry, he was given the opportunity by Dr. Kim to teach Church History and New Testament for Veritas' OIP program. Immediately Mr. Garcia fell in love with teaching and welcomed the idea of being Veritas' first full-time online teacher in 2022. After getting married in May of 2023, he decided he wanted to pursue in-person teaching. The Lord was gracious as He opened the door to a 6th-grade teaching position at Veritas. Mr. Garcia loves to teach and the Classical Education format, centered on Christ, is where his heart leans. Mr. Garcia continues to rest on God's continuous providence in that He will continue to lead him wherever he needs to be. This coincides with Mr. Garcia's favorite verse, "Man plans his ways, but the Lord directs his steps" Prov. 16:9.
