Dr. Beth Nam

Dr. Beth Nam, originally from Korea, is passionately committed to integrating music education within a classical Christian framework. She holds a Bachelor of Music, a Master of Music, and a Doctorate of Musical Arts from The Juilliard School, where she studied under renowned instructors such as Martin Canin and Robert McDonald. Her performances have taken her to prestigious venues like Carnegie Weil Recital Hall and Lincoln Center, and she has served as an assistant conductor for the South Bay Children’s Choir during their tour in England.

Currently, Dr. Nam teaches as an adjunct professor of piano at Biola University in La Mirada, alongside her role as a music teacher at Veritas. She firmly believes that Christ should be at the center of all learning, viewing music as an essential means of glorifying God. In her personal life, she enjoys baking and singing, often sharing these passions with her family. Her 4-year-old daughter, Elianna, is attending Junior Kindergarten at Veritas, strengthening their connection to the school community. Dr. Nam finds inspiration in her favorite Bible verse, Psalm 98:4: "Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises!"
