Joel Michael

Mr. Joel Michael has taught at Veritas since 2023. He graduated from Cal-State Long Beach with a degree in Studio Arts. Mr. Michael believes that independent of gifting, we all have the capacity and need for creativity, similar to our purpose for singing to the Lord songs of worship whether we're on the stage or in the seats of the congregation. Visual art is both a wonderful way to meditate on and delight in the aesthetical brilliance of God's designs and also experience a modicum of His process in making, shaping, and creating. One of his favorite scriptures is Psalm 18:2 "The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation; my stronghold." Mr. Michael's hobby is pet keeping (reptiles and aquatics) and building them lively bio-enclosures.
